The SSSC is housed in and administered by ISBER and provides academic and non-academic customers with resources to conduct CATI telephone surveys, sophisticated web-based surveys, mail and multi-mode surveys on local, regional, or national populations in several languages.

In the last few years the SSSC has worked in extending traditional data collection methods with the use of online-based questionnaire for quantitative and qualitative data collection, in survey and experimental settings. The SSSC has also pioneered mixed data collection modes, coordinating the use of telephone, mail and web for maximum effectiveness.
Extensive consulting is available on survey instrument design and development, programming, data analysis and interpretation, GIS, data mining. Data security is a top priority, as well as system performance.
